British Romance

While the rest of the world is bending towards despair and anger
England stands still, proud and silent.
Take a few steps outisde the station,
Stare at the couples, gazed in emotion
Ready to take my time
Flying for that exciting british accent
Engaging the movement, what's your name? Whose at the bar
spitting on the wacky blacky travel car?
Changin' country and changing colors for a few days
Here in London, rumbling down the hills, just a clap
Smack your brain on that shabby underground café and have a night out.
Walking the streets no trouble
Mike Skinner's jingle
Get my head out and act wack.
I blur the signals of that pornographic conversation
Wanna see my hat collection?
Shut-up Dutheil, Zipfel and Oli
Don't try to scratch your hands on my story.
I'll make the classic and dance all night,
Walk-up in East London, allright
Typical rainny sunday afternoon with Kensington in front.
Leaving Saatchi and in a last glance
Comming back to the old days, no offense.
Turn back my head quickly, heading for the serpentine gallery.
Last minutes in the pubs and the week-end's over
Running time, Thank you was a pleasure.
